Liberation Alliance Africa is a feminist, pan-African collective raising critical consciousness through radical knowledge production, policy advocacy, decolonial feminist organising, and documenting the cultural evolution of a liberated Africa. We seek to inspire a new level of thought and consciousness, to interrogate power structures, the dynamics of privilege and access to knowledge through a decolonial lens. We are keen to contribute to the disruption of colonial and patriarchal legacies that perpetuate oppression, exploitation and exclusion in Africa.

Join Us For The Launch of Three New Briefs on Building Community Power in Philanthropy in West Africa Dear friend, On Friday, July 11th, Liberation
At Liberation Alliance Africa, we believe in the prioritisation of people over processes and operate through a system that recognises productivity to include individual as well as collective happiness, joy and wellness.
To us, solidarity is about mobilising and unleashing our individual and collective power to build a world where there is peace, equality, respect for the Earth, and resources for the rights and wellbeing of all people — regardless of gender identity, race, nationality, ability, class, caste, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or location.
At Liberation Alliance Africa, we understand that injustice and inequality is a symptom of unequal and exploitative power structures. Therefore, we will disrupt, resist and organise to democratise power by amplifying the voices of marginalised and minority groups.
“We are not minorities, we have been minoritised, we are not under-represented, we have been historically excluded…” Meaningful inclusion to us is not benevolence, it is the relinquishing of power and resources to minoritised groups to shape their reality.
We see ourselves as co-labourers for feminist liberation in Africa. Therefore, we will always be ready to serve, assist and collaborate for our collective goal.
Our foundation is built on trustworthiness and character. We enjoin our communities to not only put their faith in us but trust alongside us as we envision and claim new liberatory feminist realities.
At Liberation Alliance Africa, love is political. The act of loving is profound, inspiring us to move forward towards self-actualisation and communal aspirations for justice and liberation in the midst of a shrinking civic space and opportunities for freedom.
At Liberation Alliance Africa, we pledge a lifelong commitment to learning through our experiences, other feminist movements, emerging knowledge and practices in the building of our collective and organising efforts in Africa.
